Dr Yiannis Roussakis was awarded a BSc in Physics from the University of Manchester, UK, in 2010 and an MSc in Medical Physics in 2011 from the same University. He then received a full scholarship for another MSc in ‘Physical Sciences of Imaging in the Biomedical Sciences’ (2012) at the University of Birmingham, UK, followed by a PhD in radiotherapy physics. During his research project he was primarily based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and received his PhD in 2015. He then moved to Coventry, UK, were he started working as a trainee Medical Physicist. As of June 2017 he works at the German Oncology Center in Cyprus as a Medical Physicist in Radiation Oncology.
